We have a choice of a move into the terminal loop of the 2 or 2A, or to head back towards town. So, we do both

We cross to the southbound Christchurch stop where at 1828 we board the last Stagecoach West service 2A of the day. This takes us round in a loop first - the sights of Abbeydale and Upton St Leonards, and back through Abbeydale - before taking us into town, where we alight at Gloucester (Clarence St) at 1900 on Wednesday.

Well the next train from Willington isn't for another 2 and a half hours, so we exit the station onto The Green, where we board the 2144 Trent Barton Villager service V3 to Burton-upon-Trent (High Street), arriving there at 2200 on Wednesday evening.

Impressive we've managed to pull in my home town of Ashby de la Zouch after @ValleyLines142 home town earlier!

We walk for 4 mins (0.2 mile) to Marlborough Square where we wait for a service 159 bus. I'm keen to include this as it is withdrawn from this coming Saturday so will likely be the game's last chance. Unfortunately we will miss the 08:30 departure so we will hang around for the 10:00 Roberts Travel service 159 to Market Bosworth, The Square arriving at 10:40 on Thursday morning.
