Thinking that it would be nice to see the sights of North Wales, we wait here for 1D31, Transport for Wales's 0632 service, from which we alight at Colwyn Bay at 0839 on Wednesday.

Leaving the station, we take the five minute walk to Abergele Road where we board the 0855 Arriva Wales service 13 to Llandudno Junction (Ffordd Newydd at New Road) that arrives there at 0921 on Wednesday morning.

Leaving the station, we walk to the bus stop opposite and board the 2100 Lloyds Coaches service 3B to Blaenau Ffestiniog (the bus stop after Lord Street) that arrives there at 2129 on Wednesday evening.

As there are no more options tonight(there is a 2131 to Dolgellau but that is within the 5 min minimum transfer time), we use the overnight ruling. In the morning we walk 0.3 miles to Blaenau Ffestiniog station where we board the 0624 Transport For Wales service to Tal-y-Cafn where we arrive at 0710 on Thursday morning.

Leaving the station, we take the nine minute walk to the Red Lion Hotel on Conway Road and there board the 0815 Llew Jones Coaches service 19 to Trefiw (the bus stop outside Pant-y-Carw) that arrives there at 0848 on Thursday morning.
