With a lack of onward connections for the rest of the night, We excursive the overnight rule and take the first service that doesn't double-back on ourselves, Being the 0726 Al's Coaches service 22 from Saughall (Opp K's Nursery) to West Kirby Station arriving at 0842 on Tuesday morning.

We exit the station and board the 1027 Arriva North West service 413 to Woodside Interchange, arriving there at 1111 on Tuesday morning.

We walk 0.3 mile (6 mins) to the Whitefield Lane stop where we board Arriva North West service 61 at 1758. We alight at Runcorn (High St, Bus Station) at 1857 on Tuesday.

I think we may have been able to board this at WIlson Rd, but unsure on whether Huyton Quarry Wilson Rd is also known as Whitefield Lane End Wilson Rd.

We walk for 11 mins (0.5 mile) to Runcorn Railway Station and then catch the 1930 West Midlands Trains service to Hartford arriving at 1941 on Tuesday.

Too late for onward buses, so we have a bit of a wait here now until the 2048 London North Western Railway service 1F57 to Liverpool South Parkway, arriving there at 2108 on Tuesday evening.

We wait overnight for the and return for the 0629 Northern service to Flixton arriving there at 0638 on Wednesday morning.

Sadly not, we were deposited in Hartford which only has trains to Birmingham or Liverpool and we had just come off the former bound so had no choice but to return
