We take the short walk into the railway station and await 2O06, Greater Anglia's 1923 service towards Hertford, from which we alight at Ware at 1955 on Saturday.
We take the 3 minute walk to the bus stop near the Regional College and wait for the 2012 Arriva Herts & Essex service 310 to Hertford, Bus Station arriving there at 2021 on Saturday.
Making use of what I believe is a once daily service, we next board the 2140 Central Connect service 418B to Loughton Station, arriving there at 2235 on Saturday evening.

We take the eight minute walk to Epping Station and board the 2330 London Underground Central Line service to Ruislip Gardens, arriving there at 0052 in the early hours of Sunday morning.
We walk the 0.3 miles (6 mins) to Ruislip station and there, taking advantage of the overnight ruling, we await the 0401 journey on Abellio London for TfL service 278. We alight at Hayes Town (Fairey Corner, stop F) at 0427 on Sunday.
Not wishing to remain in Birmingham for a long period of time, we head outside the coach station and board the 1645 National Express West Midlands Platinum service X1 to Spon End (Alvis Retail Park), arriving there at 1746 on Sunday afternoon.
We walk to Coventry railway station (8 minutes; 0.4 miles) and await 1M70, Cross Country's 2027 service to Manchester from which we alight at Macclesfield at 2201 on Sunday.
We take advantage of the overnight travel relaxation rule and next board the 0610 Northern service to Goostrey that arrives there at 0641 on Monday morning.
