We stroll the 0.2 mile to the Bus Depot bus stop on Hallsteads and await the final High Peak skyline 199 journey of the day at 2321. We take it the short distance to Chapel-en-le-Frith (Town End) where we arrive at 2326 on Tuesday.

Seeing a "local" with a strange resemblance to "Compo" from "The last of the Summer Wine" hanging around waiting to board the return journey, we determine that discretion is the better part of valour and take the three minute walk to the bus stop on Town Gate where we board the 1434 Stotts Coaches service H3 to Holmfirth (Bus Station) that arrives there at 1441 on Wednesday afternoon.
