We walk for 2 minutes around the corner to the bus station, and board Stagecoach East Midlands Seasider service 1 at 1305. We alight at Chapel St Leonards Bus Station, which appears to be a single bus shelter, at 1332 on Saturday.

We have no choice but to stick with Stagecoach East Midlands service 59, so we take the 1540 journey to Mumby (opp Washdyke Lane) where we arrive at 1611 on Saturday.

We conclude our little outing to the villages north of Skegness by boarding Stagecoach East Midlands Seasider service 1 at 1650, and alighting back in Skegness (adj Scarborough Esplanade) at 1703 on Saturday.

Unfortunately we're a little too far from the Railway Station, so instead we await the 1711 Hunt's Coaches service 7 to Bilsby, Spar Shop arriving there at 1750 on Saturday.

Well, that's it for the Saturday, and Bilsby has no Sunday service.

Rule clarification please: Do we therefore have to await Monday morning, or are we allowed to walk further than the half-mile per the following "Additional Note" from post #1, below?

  • Should the previous move leave you at a the end of a route for which there are no services timetabled to depart from then you may walk to the nearest stop where services are available.

Common sense and a touch of realism, if someone can find a sensible itinerary to keep us moving please do so :)

Think our best bet here is just waiting patiently until Monday morning, for the 0735 Hunts Coaches service 96A to Mablethorpe (Grayscroft Coach Depot), arriving there at 0755 on Monday morning.

There are a few Stagecoach services from here!

Let's await the 0906 from here, which is Stagecoach east Midlands service 50. We take it to Louth (Bus Station) where we arrive at 0943 on Monday.

On a Monday, Utterby is served only by the 51, so we wait an hour and continue north on Stagecoach East Midlands service 51 at 1118, alighting at Scartho (opp. Westkirke Ave) at 1144 on Monday.

Well I was hoping a trip to Cleethorpes was on the cards, but in the meantime we board the 1155 Stagecoach East Midlands service 8 to Grimsby (Riverhead Exchange), arriving there at 1212 on Monday afternoon.

We exit the station and walk 400 yards to Cross Street where we wait for the 15:18 Stagecoach East Midlands service 9 to Waltham (Barnoldby Road) where we arrive at 16:13 on Monday afternoon.

We cross the road to the Millfield Ave stop and await Stagecoach East Midlands service 8 at 1713, which we take to Cleethorpes (the stop adjacent to North Sea Lane on Kings Rd) where we alight at 1735 on Monday.

This stop looks to be just in Cleethorpes, as the boundary with Humberston appears to be North Sea Lane itself.

Although we made a visit to both there and Scartho again recently, in this neck of the woods we are somewhat limited to either Grimsby or Cleethorpes, so we next board the 1748 Stagecoach East Midlands service 10 to Grimsby (Riverhead Exchange), arriving there at 1820 on Monday evening.

Services are a bit thin on the ground in Lincolnshire, don't they!

There are no more buses here today, so winstead of waiting over 3 hours for the next southbound train, our only option is to head back north. So, we take 2L79, East Midland's 1946 service towards Cleethorpes, which we take only as far as Barnetby where we arrive at 2001 on Monday.

Just a tad!

We next board the 2053 TransPennine Express service 1B95 to Manchester Piccadilly, arriving there at 2305 on Monday evening.
