There is only the one route thrugh here on a Saturday, and nothing else within walking distance, so we cross the road and await the next appearance of Centrebus 747 at 1634. We take this as far as Thurnby (opp. Dalby Ave) at 1654 on Saturday.

Our only other option is to walk through to Pulford Drive for the 56 although we will have quite a wait as the service only runs hourly these days. The next 747 is almost the same length of time away, and will only take us back in the direction we have just come from.
So we make the 9 minute 0.4 mile walk to the bus stop on Pulford Drive and wait for the 1800 Arriva Midlands service 56 to Thurnby Lodge, Scraptoft Lane (the stop adjacent to Brook Road) arriving at 1807 on Saturday.

Yes, I saw the 56 too 8-)

We walk the 0.4 miles (8 minutes) to Bankside stop on New Romney Crescent where we await Centrebus Leicester CircleLine service 40 at 1843 for the short ride to Crown Hills (adj. Leicester General Hospital) where we arrive at 1853 on Saturday.
This appears to be a circular that uses the same number in both directions, most confusing!

Edit: Forgot to add the date.

In reality the vehicles show 'clockwise' and 'anti clockwise' on the destination screens, but of course that doesn't help with journey planning!
