I see nothing in the instructions saying that we can't use ferries, so...

Let's walk the 0.5 mile to Chelsea Embankment (Cadogan Pier) and board Uber Boat by Thames Clippers (for TfL) service RB6 at 1841, alighting at Canary Wharf Pier at 1927 on Monday.

We can indeed use ferries!

We take the four minute walk to the bus stop on West India Avenue, where we board the 1932 Docklands Buses service 135 to Crossharbour Asda, arriving there at 2000 on Monday evening.

We take the short walk to the railway station and board 2Y23, London Overground's 2049 service towards Clapham Junction. We alight at Willesden Junction at 2130 on Monday.

Let's escape the South East by boarding Avanti West Coast's 9G48 service, the 2246 service towards Wolverhampton, which we take as far as Coventry where we arrive at 0010 on Tuesday.

Services seem limited here so we continue on the 2131 Chaserider service 60 to Cannock (Bus Station), arriving there at 2202 on Tuesday evening.

Unfortunately it is too far to walk to the Railway Station and bus services are finished for the night, so we will wait until the following morning to catch the 0537 Chaserider service 74 to Stafford, Gaol Square arriving at 0613 on Wednesday morning.
