The last time that I contributed to this thread, there was talk of the company name being changed from First Bristol, Bath and the West to a more simplified title (no doubt inspired by a wag on this website who jokingly referred to "First Bristol, Bath and the Back of Beyond"). However, the recent postings seem to say that the original name still applies.

We next board the 2136 First Bristol, Bath and the West service X1 to Congresbury (Bridge) that arrives there at 2145 on Saturday evening.

Unfortunately, there are no other services running, so we walk to the Station Road stop and board the 2214 First Bed, Bath, and Beyond service X1 to Bristol (Bus Station), arriving at 2244 on Saturday evening.

I believe it's just known as First West of England, but anything will do!

We next board the 2310 First West of England/equivalent South Glos Lynx service Y4 to Yate (Shopping Centre), arriving there at 0000 on Sunday morning.

I was going to post.....

Taking advantage of the overnight travel relaxation rule, we next board the 0722 First West of England service Y5 to Pucklechurch (Goldfinch Way) that arrives there at 0739 on Sunday morning.

Howsoever, on reading of the overnight travel relaxation rule, it may well be the case that 0500 is the terminal time of that rule and the other rule that makes reference to a maximum two hour waiting time for an available service would seem to suggest 0700 as the deadline.

@Xenophon PCDGS I think those Y5 times are Monday morning's, and we are just starting Sunday...

My proposal is therefore that we board First West of England South Glos Lynx service Y1 at 0047, alighting at the Bristol Royal Infirmary at 0112 Sunday morning.

That is one reason why I put that part of my posting in italics, as it was not to be considered as an actual posting.

The main gist of the posting was to show my worry about the understanding of:-
1)...The overnight travel relaxation rule that ends at 0500
2)...The two-hour maximum wait time.

I have put my concerns in a conversation already to the Forum Quizmaster team.

There is nothing within the statutory half mile of this stop except the Falcon until gone 9am, so I think that, other than returning northbound on Falcon, this is our only option...

We await the next Stagecoach South West Falcon, departing at 0505, and we alight at Sowton, Honiton Rd at 0540 on Sunday.

It seems we’ve gone backwards in time again.
