Disappointed that the heritage railway is only open on Sunday, we walk the 10 minutes (0.5 miles) to Cross, where we board the 12:35 First Norfolk & Suffolk Green Line service 14 to Norwich (Railway Station), arriving there for 13:23 on Saturday afternoon.

We walk the 8 minutes (0.4 miles) to King's Head* to catch the 14:04 First Norfolk & Suffolk service X1 to Lowestoft (Bus Station), arriving there for 15:17 on Saturday afternoon.

*Appears as 0.7 miles on Google's walking directions, but they missed a pathway from the station to Reedham Road. Used the measure distance tool to get 0.4 miles.

Well, there are no buses here that I can find and no more trains today either so we explore the RSPB reserve, taking an extended overnight break (luckily we have our camping gear with us) and waiting until 09:49 to catch the Greater Anglia service to Berney Arms where we arrive at 10:03 on Sunday morning.

Services are starting to die down here now as it's a Sunday evening, and with a desire to move away from the 1/1A route, we then board the 2201 First Norfolk & Suffolk Coastal Clipper service 1 to Great Yarmouth (Market Gates), arriving there at 2220 on Sunday evening.

(There is a 2122 service back to Martham but I really do not see the point in going there when I imagine the only following service will be the return above!)
