We are struggling a bit for anything other than route 4, so we take the 2003 departure as far as the bus stop adjacent to Rugby, Elliott's Field Retail Park arriving at 2025 on Wednesday

Still struggling to get away from the 4 (as all other buses in the area have dwindled down already), we think it best to head to the town centre as we next board the 2038 Stagecoach Warwickshire service 4 to Rugby (Abbey Street), arriving there at 2044 on Wednesday evening where I'm hoping we can use another service from here!

We take the 2328 Stagecoach Midlands service D1 to Rugby, Clifton Road arriving at 2345 on Wednesday.
This area isn't great for evening bus services clearly!

And just as I thought we could finally leave Rugby, it transpires that we are just too far away from the railway station to get out of this place! Instead, we stop off for the evening and in the morning board the 0604 Stagecoach Warwickshire service 64 to Leamington Spa (Upper Parade), arriving there at 0700 on Thursday morning.

We walk 450 yards to Walsall Wood (Castle Road) and wait for the 16:59 National Express West Midlands service 937 to Brownhills west (Rising Sun) where we arrive at 17:15 on Thursday afternoon.

And there was me trying to find a different service! Gazumped again.

We walk 100 yards to Westbourne Road and wait for the 17:23 Arriva Midlands service 3A to Norton Canes (Breeze Avenue) where we arrive at 18:00 on Thursday evening.
