To avoid taking the sleeper to London, we instead take the ten minute walk to the coach station, where we board the 2300 Stagecoach South West Falcon service to Bristol Airport, arriving there at 0143 in the early hours of Monday morning.

We have a little time to wait and grab a coffee, before boarding the First West of England Service A2 to Bristol City Centre Lewins Mead (Stop B1), arriving at 0302 on Monday Morning

Attempting to use another bus service than the Y1 that we arrived on yet again, we take the two minute walk to The Clock and there board the 0623 Stagecoach West service 620 to Lansdown (Sion Road) that arrives there at 0714 on Monday morning.

Not quite understanding the yet again reference? We've used the Y1 once? Apologies in advance if I've confused myself somewhere

We next board the 0720 First West of England service 31 to Bath (Milsom Street), arriving there at 0724 on Monday morning (which my housemate may well be driving this morning as he left the house quite early!)

We are just too far from the railway station so we board the 1239 First West of England Discover service D1 to Trowbridge (Newland Place), arriving there at 1400 on Monday afternoon.

We walk 500 yards to the Rising Sun and there board the 14:40 First Bristol, Bath & West service D1* to Wilton (Fugglestone Roundabout) where we arrive at 15:54 on Monday afternoon.

Sorry it's the D1 again, but it was either that or the 67 again back to Trowbridge.

Well we're in a bit of a poor situation here because that was the last bus towards Pewsey, there is a service back to Devizes but then that's where we've just come from.

On the sole basis that the next bus towards Pewsey isn't until 10.10 the following morning, we have no choice other than to return on the 1815 Salisbury Reds service 102 back to Devizes (Cinema & Bingo), arriving there at 1848 on Monday evening where hopefully we can actually go somewhere with better connections!

Now why does the sentiments expressed above remind me of what was said in posting # 25168 not so very long ago....:)

Still being interested in setting journeys that make contributors think a little more deeply, we take the one minute walk to The Pelican and there board the 1905 First West of England service D3 to Atworth (Post Office Lane) that arrives there at 1941 on Monday evening,

Well, I have thought very deeply and the only option I can see (without backtracking) is to catch the next First West of England service D3 at 20:41 which will take us to Batheaston (Stambridge) where we arrive at 20:54 on Monday evening.

Next bus isn't until tomorrow morning (yes, there's a D3 at 00:16, but at that point we may as well go to sleep), so back in the morning for the 5 minute walk to Barnes Wallis Close, to board the 06:55 Faresaver service X72 to Bath (Bus Station), arriving there for 07:35 on Tuesday morning.

No probs, we didn't go straight back there, and I only noticed as it has an unusual name!

Next up is the 1437 Stagecoach West 'Gold' 55 service to Royal Wootton Bassett, High Street arriving at 1458 on Tuesday.
