We stop off for the night and in the morning we take the four minute walk along Catherine Street to the railway station, where we board the 0627* ScotRail service 1T06 to Larbert, arriving there at 0803 on Wednesday morning.

* I am aware we are supposed to recommence travel from 5am after the overnight relaxation rule but the first train isn't until gone 6am anyway.

We walk 300 yards to Shillinghill, then board the 09:18 First Scotland East service 52 to Stirling Bus Station where we arrive at 10:09 on Wednesday morning.

We walk 8 minutes north to the Royal Bank of Scotland bus stops to board the first bus we can. It's the 19:56 Aaron's of Wick route A9 service to Scrabster Ferry Terminal, arriving there at 20:09 on a Wednesday.

There aren't any more buses now or ferries (thank god), so in the morning we board the 0900 Stagecoach Highlands service X99 to Inverness (Bus Station), arriving there at 1254 on Wednesday afternoon.

We don't have long to wait for the 16:47 Lochcarron Garage service 704 to Applecross Post Office where we arrive at 18:15 on Thursday evening

Just look at the view across the Inner Sound to Raasay and Skye.

It's a fabulous view. This is what I love about this game - it takes one to places which are rather difficult to reach. I've got a very good image that looks over Loch Carron from the hills above Stromeferry station. The Highlands is an area I really want to explore more.

BUT - That bus only runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I'm afraid the move is invalid.

Oh dear - yes, sorry about that. Got a bit carried away. So it's back to:

We take the 10 minute half mile walk to the Road End bus stops to board the 16:11 Stagecoach Highlands route 153 service to Lochcarron Colonel's Road, arriving there at 16:40 on a Thursday.

But we have a problem - the only bus out is the return service 153 timed at 16:40 so we have to miss that and spend the night here. In the morning we get up early and catch the 06:50 DMK Motors service 702 to Sheildag Telephone Kiosk where we arrive at 07:25 on Friday morning.

(Note: this is a "schooldays only" service. Hope that's OK.)

There was a bus at 1727 to the post office, but that was about it!

We then board the 0730 Westerbus service 705 to Gairloch (High School), arriving there at 0845 on Friday morning.

If it's listed as a bus and is timetabled like a bus ….

Having got this far we just have to catch the 10:45 Scoraig Ferry service to Scoraig Ferry Landing where we arrive at 11:00 on Friday morning.

Well we are remotely stuffed now, as the only service on here is not until MONDAY!!! which is the one coming into Badluarach, so we have to stop off overnight and come back for the 1030 Scoraig Ferry service to Badluarach (Ferry Terminal), arriving there at 1045 on Monday morning.

What's wrong with a nice weekend surrounded by wonderful Highland scenery?

We then board the 10:50 Badluarach Taxi Service service to Ullapool Ferry Terminal, arriving there at 11:50 on a Monday.

Bit of an awkward situation here as whilst Ullapool is a little more globalised, there is not another bus for quite a few hours, so we take the earliest bus which is the 1525 Stagecoach North Scotland service 61 to Inverness (Stagecoach Depot), arriving there at 1708 on Monday afternoon.

We have unfortunately just missed the last Cromarty Ferry of the day so we wait until 19:25 to catch the Stagecoach Highlands bus 26C to Jemimaville Post Office where we arrive at 19:37 on Monday evening.

Sadly, the other buses in the area have stopped for the day, so we enjoy the fabulous views of the Cromarty Firth for a couple of hours and board the 21:42 Stagecoach Highlands route 26C service to Cromarty Victoria Hall, arriving there at 21:53 on a Monday.

The Cromarty Ferry only runs between May and September, so we've got quite a long wait!

There is a service two minutes later back but there's no guarantee that it's the same bus returning, thankfully we can wait for the 0030 Stagecoach North Scotland service 26C to North Kessock (Kessock Bridge), arriving there at 0122 on Tuesday morning.

We take advantage of the overnight travel relaxation rule and when it is time, we board the 0527 Stagecoach North Scotland service 26A to Fortrose (Post Office on High Street) that arrives there at 0547 on Tuesday morning.
We then take the 26C to Rosemarkie Fairy Glen Car Park.

This is my first post on this game so if I do something incorrect please correct me.

Firstly, please look at the very first two postings on the thread, which contain advice, guide notes and rules.

Secondly, you need to show the time of departure, the service operator and the time of arrival, then ending your posting with the "running quiz day of the week" You have already stated the service number and the destination in your posting above.
