If I am reading the timetables right there are no Sunday buses at all to Rode, even the D2 not including the village on any of its services. My suggestion is, therefore, that we walk half a mile to the Bell Inn, have a day off, and from there catch the 07:32 Fromebus service X69 to Bradford on Avon Town Bridge where we arrive at 07:46 on Monday morning.

There is also limited choice here too, so we wait for the 1304 First West of England Discover service D1 to Bath (Laura Place), arriving there at 1455 on Monday afternoon.

There seems to be a curfew on buses leaving Malmesbury after 18:00. There are three (I think) that depart at that time, but sine that infringes the 5-minute rule the only option is to walk 600 yards to the Health Centre in time for the 22:07 National Express service 401 to Bristol Bus Station where we arrive at 22:50 on Monday evening.

Note: if somebody can find a service departing within the 2-hour window after 17:58 I will strike through this entry.

We take the 4 minute walk to Lawrence Hill station, take an overnight stop, and board the 05:49 Great Western Railway service to Bristol Parkway, arriving there at 06:02 on a Tuesday.

This is from the new timetable from Sunday. At present, it's the 0603 from Lawrence Hill which gets into Bristol Parkway for 0616.

We'll still catch a following service that operates after both services anyway, just to give clearance, so we then board the 0651 First West of England South Glos Lynx service Y6 to Southmead Hospital, arriving there at 0719 on Tuesday morning.
