Noting what you say above and indeed remembering the previous discussion on geographical description, yesterday I contacted Traveline and put your views forward to them for comment. This morning, they contacted me to say that in their advanced timetable facility, they take geographical area names from city, town and village Local Authority information that is in the public domain.

Hmm....I'd take that with a pinch of salt if I were you.

I do find it remarkable that a sizeable seaside town with a population of just over 13,000 has no bus or rail service after 8pm.
