Time to take advantage of the overnight travel relaxation rule and soon we take the seven minute walk to Market Parade and wait until we board the 0600 Stagecoach West service 94 to Cheltenham (Imperial Square) that arrives there at 0625 on Saturday morning.

Ooh actually, I think you may have looked at the weekday timetable, because the first 51 from Cheltenham on a Saturday isn't until 08.10 (I did try and have a look at posting the next move myself!

Ignoring Rail Replacement Buses that go back to Leeds, we decide to avail ourselves of the advantages offered by the overnight travel relaxation rule, so we walk to the coach stop outside the railway station and board the 0455 National Express coach service 436 to South Shields (Keppel Street) that arrives there at 0740 on Sunday morning.

I was just in the middle of preparing a move from Shirehampton on the Portway Park and Ride, but I see our travels in Bristol were of short success.

It was said that our Bristol area visit was of short duration, but to go from Leeds to South Shields, then straight back to Leeds again, takes away a chance to discover more areas of the North East.

Fulfilling Paul's wish to head to the North East, we find ourselves just in time to board the 12:40 National Express service 591 to Berwick-upon-Tweed Golden Square, arriving at 17:00 Sunday afternoon.
