As previously requested, I will NOT now strike-through my posting as has been my want in past times and do wonder how much in the way of confusion my posting has caused. How many alternative bus services run along Ponteland Road that can have the route times affected by my posting?

There's quite a few, but I'll go with the Eastern Way bus stop, as that is one of two bus stops that have an arrival time of 1605. However I recommend changing your sources to one that has more specific timings.

From the opposite side of the road, at the end of Fuchsia Place, we then board the 1634 Stagecoach North East service X78 to Darras Hall (Middle Drive/Sycamore Avenue), arriving there at 1653 on Tuesday afternoon.

There's quite a few, but I'll go with the Eastern Way bus stop, as that is one of two bus stops that have an arrival time of 1605. However I recommend changing your sources to one that has more specific timings.

Feeling suitably chastised by what was stated above by the bus inspector, we make our apologies to him and look for a bus station as our next arrival point to ensure we do not stop at an ill-defined and poorly-named stop, even if this means waiting for such a bus service to achieve this aspiration, so we decide to board the 1806 Go North East service 74 to Hexham (Bus Station) that arrives there at 1859 on Tuesday evening.
