Not much wishing to head back where we’ve just come from, we decide to go and take a look at the nearby Loch Charn, before returning back to the bus stop for the 10:17 West Coast Motors service 418 to Kilmore, opp Village Hall, arriving at 10:33 Wednesday morning.

Here we decide to head out onto the water, walking to the ferry terminal in good time for the 13:30 Caledonian Macbrayne service CM20 to Castlebay Ferry Terminal, arriving at 18:30 Wednesday evening.

Welcome to the Western Isles :D

The 09:12 is technically the same service having just been to Lochboisdale and back and the 09:19/09:37 (same service) head back where we've just come from, so we decide instead to wait it out for the 10:40 D A Travel service W17 to Creagory, at Co-Op, arriving at 11:37 Thursday morning.

I have absolutely no idea where we are, I've never heard of any of these places and I have no idea if where I'm about to take us next has any connecting services, so, I think we can board the 1227 D A Travel service W17 to Ardivachar (Cemetery), arriving there at 1240 on Thursday afternoon.

I look forward to us returning to civilisation (though I was remarkably surprised to find a Co-op in the area!)

That's me most of the time on this game

There's not planes allowed on here unfortunetly, so continuing our very enjoyable (for me at least!) journey round these stunning islands, we board the 15:02 Grenitote Travel service W16 to Berneray, nr Youth Hostel, arriving at 15:55 Thursday afternoon.

We find ourselves in good time for the 17:20 Caledonian MacBrayne ferry service CM23 to Leverburgh Ferry Terminal, arriving at 18:20 Thursday evening.

Now here's an island I've actually been to :)

Well now we are screwed as there are no buses from here for the rest of the day, so we play it safe and board the 0911 Hebridean Transport service W10 to Stornoway (Bus Station), arriving there at 1040 on Friday morning.

With an infrequent boat service, we must continue on the bus. We board the 12:00 MacLennan Coaches route W4 service to Brenish, Township, arriving there at 13:21 on a Friday.

Much to other Dan's delight, the next bus isn't until 16:05, so we spend the next almost three hours admiring the stunning location before returning to the bus stop for the 16:05 MacLennan Coaches service W4 (booked in advance!) to Garynahine, at Bus Shelter, arriving at 17:15 Friday afternoon.

I think this is the Lewis version of Dovey Junction

It's a very weird place to terminate a bus!

We just miss a departure of the W2, so we have to wait until 18:28 to board MacLennan Coaches route W2 to Upper Carloway, Windygates, arriving there at 19:02 on a Friday.

Ditto here! We are in luck though as we can walk the 0.5 miles (10 mins) down to Carloway Bridge for the 19:25 Galson Motors service W2 to Barvas Junction, arriving at 19:50 Friday evening.

Slightly better connections here as board the 1955 Galson Motors service W1 to Stornoway (Bus Station), arriving there at 2015 on Friday evening (where we can hopefully get back to the mainland!).

I'm afraid we're stuck on the island till morning, so to pass the time we decide to gop on the 21:45 Bus Na Comhairle service W5 to Aird, opp MacSween Terrace, arriving at 22:21 Friday evening.

Return journey to Stornoway and then the 07:00 ferry should get us back to Ullapool if you wish (although I'm very happy here ;))

We then board the 23:38 Bus Na Comhairle route W5 service to Flesherin, Turning Point, arriving there at 23:42 on a Friday.

I'm surprised that there are buses this late up here.

Looks like that’s @DanTrainMan185’s ferry gone then! Oh well, more time to explore this wonderful island :D. We pitch our tent here for the night before returning on the 06:50 Bus Na Comhairle service W5 to Stornoway, at Bus Station, arriving at 07:53 Saturday morning.
