I would have thought it would be down to not checking before posting. I have got into the practice of refreshing the page just before posting to make sure nobody has jumped in before me. This is very recent, and I am very liable to forget it, but the times I've done it, it has worked. (All the times I've done it, nobody has posted anything.)
No, I'm talking about those who are forgetting that you're just a newbie learning the game. They aren't being patient.

We walk into the station, realise it's Thameslink and mutter an expletive. Having spent all of 3 hours waiting with the rest of the crush at the barriers, a train arrives but it is too full for anyone to get on. So, we have another...

We walk into the station and board the 17:10 Thameslink service to Bedford, arriving there at 17:38 on a Tuesday.

Risking things a little here...

We then take the 1759 East Midlands Trains ‘Rail Replacement Bus Service’ to Wellingborough arriving at 1839 on Tuesday.

I am sure that I have not only greeted new contestants to this particular thread, but have always drawn their attention to the very first two postings on the thread that cover the rules and the guide notes that were written by the forum quizmasters when they relaunched this thread,

We leave the station, and walk a short distance to Warrington Central Station (FA) where we board Arriva North West route 329 at 08:10*. We take it to St Helens Bus Station, arriving there at 08:47 on a Wednesday.

*The last timing point is at 08:09 one stop prior at Warrington Bus Interchange. I have assumed that the driving time from Bus Interchange to Central Station bus stop is 1 minute.

Here we board the 14:01 LNWR service 2S17 to Aspley Guise, arriving at 14:15 Wednesday afternoon.

As the local buses (routes C and D) from just outside the station only run on the first Monday of the month, we go back to the train, boarding the 14:23 LNWR service back to Bow Brickhill, arriving at 14:30. There, we take a look at the Contemplation Seat for the station. It is a Wednesday.
