We take the seven minute walk to London Fenchurch Street station and board the 0530 c2c service to Shoeburyness that arrives at 0633 on Friday morning.

We then take the 06:40 Arriva Herts & Essex Service 9 to Southend, Chichester Road arriving there at 07:10 on Friday morning.

We then board the 0737 First Essex service 25 to Basildon (Bus Station), arriving there at 0903 on Friday morning.

Then we take the 0915 First Essex Service 100 to Chelmsford Railway Station (Stand 12) arriving there at 1011 on Friday.

We enter the railway station and board the 1022 Abellio Greater Anglia service 1F18 to White Notley, arriving there at 1040 on Friday morning.

We then board the 01:45 London General service 14 to Warren Street (University College Hospital) arriving there at 02:24 in the early hours of Friday morning.

The train seems to be the only way in and out of here, so we wait a while before boarding the 11:40 Greater anglia service 1F20 to Braintree, arriving at 11:50 Friday morning.

We then take a 7 minute walk to the Bus Station and join the 1215 Arriva Herts & Essex Service 133 to Stansted Airport Coach Station arriving at 1310 on Friday.

Walking across to the station, we then baord the 13:27 Cross Country service 1N57 to Oakham, arriving at 15:18 Friday afternoon.

We then take the 1635 Centrebus Service 113 to Burrough on the Hill, Grants arriving there at 1658 on Friday.

We next board the 1745 Centrebus Midlands service 113 to Little Dalby (Wheathill Farm on Pickwell Lane) that arrives there at 1756 on Friday afternoon.

Here, we have little choice other than to board the 18:21 Centrebus service 113 taking it as far as Burrough-on-the-Hill, adj Grants Free House, where we arrive at 18:32 Friday evening.

We have no choice but to sleep the night, catching the 9:52 Centrebus service 113 taking it to Twyford, opp Church Lane, arriving at 9:56, Saturday morning.
