Paul is seemingly quite disappointed we didn't make it to Brighton, so perhaps we can attempt to return by stopping off overnight and boarding the 0547 South Western Railway service 2C10 to Clapham Junction, arriving there at 0653 on Saturday morning.

Shimmy on over to platform 13 for the 0702 service and there you go!

We then get the 09:10 Abellio Surrey Bus service 461 to Addlestone (Tesco (Stop E)), arriving at 10:10 Saturday morning.

We take the 4 minute walk to the Railway Station and join the 10:32 South Western Railway 2S21 service to Weybridge arriving there at 10:37 on Saturday morning.

We then board the 1103 South Western Railway service 2S30 to the delightful Barnes, my boyfriend's surname, arriving there at 1204 on Saturday afternoon.

We take the 4 minute walk to Old Street and then join the 1601 Northern Line service to Kings Cross St Pancras Underground arriving at 1606 on Saturday.

We walk upstairs to King's Cross mainline station and board the 2C40 16:21 Great Northern service, getting off at Welwyn North at 17:00.

Then we take the 1730 Thameslink 2C42 service to Letchworth arriving there at 1748 on Saturday

Exiting the station, we then board the 19:04 Richmonds Coaches service 386 to Standon, opp Heron Restaurant, arriving at 19:43 Saturday evening.

There's a National Express stop down the road, looks like our best chance of finding a service at this time on a Saturday .

We do this, and from South Road we then board the 2040 National Express service 777 to Birmingham (Digbeth Coach Station), arriving there at 0015 in the early hours of Sunday morning.

We then make the 1 minute walk to Coach Street where we then join the 0114 National Express West Midlands service 97 to Chelmsley Wood, Chester Road arriving there at 0150 on Sunday morning.

We then wait a few hours until 03:45, when we board the National Express West Midlands service X12 to Solihull Station Interchange (Stand G), arriving at 04:15 Sunday morning.

We then get the 06:30 National Express service 420 London to London Baker Street Station, arriving at 08:30 Sunday morning.

Not NXWM this time, and we're on it for exactly 2 hours!
