Next, we board the 14:27 Stagecoach East Midlands route 260 'The Villager' bus service to Goxhill (Crossroads), arriving there at 14:42 on Tuesday afternoon.

From outside the station, we then baord the 12:05 Dales and District service 73 to Leeming Bar White Rose Hotel (SW-bound) for no other reason than it's on the Maths A-Level data set, and I've wondered what it's like there (and it has a motorway service station), arriving at 12:19 Thursday afternoon.

After a spot of lunch at the White Rose (which is also a pub), we board the 12:54 Dales and District route 73 bus service to Bedale (Market Place), arriving there at 13:03 on Thursday afternoon.

Disappointingly, the Wenslydale railway doesn't run on a Thursday this time of year, so instead we choose to look around this wonderful Yorkshire town, before boarding the 13:50 North Yorkshire County Council service 155 to Leyburn, adj Market Place, arriving at 14:21 Thursday afternoon.

After coffee and cake in Leyburn, we board the 15:55 Little White Bus route 156 bus service towards Beckstones Ford in Gayle, disembarking at Hawes (Market Place) at 16:40 on Thursday afternoon.
