We take the three minute walk to the bus stop outside the W H Smith store and are just in time to catch the 1710 Peter Hogg route 20 service to Denholm (the bus stop adjacent to the Cross Keys Inn) that arrives there at 1801 on Saturday afternoon.

After popping into the inn for a drink and a packet of crisps (some of us just had an orange juice and lemonade!), we cross the road and board the 18:50 Peter Hogg route 20 bus service to Ancrum (Cleikimin Shelter), arriving there at 18:58 on Saturday evening.
