The same bus on its way back on a new journey, the 291 is a very scenic route east of Forest Row and I recommend it.

Now I decide to head back home by boarding the 2037 Metrobus Fastway service 100 to Northgate Parade, arriving at 2048 on Thursday evening.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
Still time to head off to the Reigate area, so we take the short two minute walk to the bus stop adjacent to Worsted Green on Bletchingly Road where we board the 2303 Metrobus service 430 to South Park (the bus stop opposite Priory Road on Park Lane East that arrives there at 2334 on Thursday evening.

Is this the Priory Road or Priory Drive stop?

Assuming this is Priory Road, we find no more services cease to operate for the rest of the day, so the next morning we board the 0634 Metrobus service 435 to Redhill (Bus Station), arriving there at 0700 on Friday morning.

After a lovely scenic ride through Surrey and West Sussex, rather than the direct route 409, we head further south through the Sussex countryside on board the 1210 Metrobus service 270 to Lindfield, High Street, arriving at 1248 on Friday afternoon.

It is inbetween Moulsecoomb and Falmer, and anyway that's how it appears on the Brighton and Hove timetable.

Seems Traveline has it as Moulsecoomb, but I was using the Brighton and Hove timetable as I have it in my bag. Apologies.

I was in Brighton yesterday, noticed the B&H busses are named!

Then get the 20:22 Brighton & Hove service 46 to Southwick (Southwick Green), arriving at 21:07 Friday evening.

Taking the five minute walk along St Martins Road to the station, we enter the station and are disappointed to see there are no more westbound services. We instead embark on a late night stopping service along the coast, and board the 2233 Southern service 2K00 to Aldrington, arriving there at 2312 on Friday evening.

They are indeed! So interesting actually, been going to Brighton for a long time! For me, probably the best bus company going.

We take the ten minute walk to the bus stop opposite Westbourne Villas on New Church Road and board the 2326 Brighton and Hove service 1 to Whitehawk (the bus stop opposite Piltdown Road on Whitehawk Way) that arrives there at 2355 on Friday evening.

We then board the 0028 Brighton and Hove service N1 to Brighton (Old Steine), arriving there at 0039 in the early hours of Saturday morning.
