Additional Notes
  • So the game remains realistic, you should use the current timetable for the relevant day not including timetable variations for engineering works.

Just thinking, the "quiz day of the week" currently in operation is a Bank Holiday Monday, so do we have abide by any published special Bank Holiday timetable or treat it as a normal Monday.

The quiz rules should cover such a query, but appear not to do so.

I didn't actually realise that we appear to play this game in accordance with the live days of the week. I just went on the basis that it was a normal Monday.

From Rugeley Trent Valley, we then board the 0743 London Midland service 2U21 to Kidsgrove, arriving there at 0820 on Monday morning.

I have sought clarification on this matter from the forum quizmasters, as it was they who set the rules of this relaunched thread which are spread over the first two postings on the thread.

I will "hang fire" with any more postings until the forum quizmasters come back to this thread or the "quiz day" moves on to the quiz day of Tuesday.

We can't use any relation to real days - what moves should we apply the Bank Holiday timetable, when Monday moves can happen on any day of the real week? - so we should ignore the Bank Holiday timetable. This isn't a new policy.

Thanks for this very quick clarification of matters. On some timetables, Sundays and Bank Holidays are one and the same.

After this we board the 0906 northen rail to Stockport where we arrive on Monday morning at 0943

This is the posting from where matters should therefore be continued.
