Since we have been at the Meridian Centre for four days we may have seen all there is to see in this area for the time being so we take the 10 minute walk to Peacehaven, Roderick Avenue (W-bound) from where we take Brighton & Hove Bus and Coach Company 12 service at 0447 as far as Brighton, Brighton Station (Stop D) where we arrive at 0511 on Tuesday morning.

We are thwarted by just one minute in the required five minute bus connection time and have to watch a bus leave at 0515 and then have to wait for another one, which is the 0545 Brighton and Hove Coaster service 12 to Eastbourne (Terminus Road stop E on Cornfield Road) that arrives there at 0646 on Tuesday morning.

Assuming that this is Nightingale Rise, as opposed to Nightingale Close, we then take the three minute walk to the Highlands PH, where we board the 1656 Brighton and Hove service 28 to Brighton (St Peter's Church), arriving there at 1754 on Tuesday afternoon.

Taking the ten minute walk along Harmers Hay Road to the bus stop of the same name, we then board the 1556 Stagecoach in Eastbourne service 54 to Uckfield (Bus Station), arriving there at 1629 on Tuesday afternoon.

Sorry, the previous service to Ridgewood arrived at 1624, which is 28 minutes later than the departure time of the service that you nominated above.

We also jumped forward three days, so I've put it back on the correct quiz day, Tuesday.

That is very thoughtful of you as weekend services can run to different timetables and we very soon would have been in such a situation had you not noticed that.

We take the seven minute walk to the bus stop on Coachmans Drive (wsxdpwag) and board the 2003 Metrobus Fastway service 10 to Manor Royal (Faraday Road) that arrives there at 2017 on Tuesday evening.

Vauxhall (the stop opposite the War Memorial)

I think we have again a situation where details on the timetable or on Traveline are unclear. from looking at the 757 timetable I am taking this stop to be in Luton.

We walk to the stop at Vauxhall, adj IBC Vehicles Gate 1 and take Arriva & the Shire 100 Sapphire service at 0549 as far as Stevenage. Corey's Mill, Lister Hospital (Stop B) (Stop ID: hrtgagta) where we arrive at 0632 on Wednesday morning.

I thought it was Vauxhall in London, purely because a journey time of forty five minutes sounds about right from Brent Cross, but then I realised the 757 goes nowhere near

We then board the 0805 Arriva the Shires 'Sapphire' service 102 to Luton (Church Street), arriving there at 0833 on Wednesday morning.

Another service change sees us next board the 0900 Arriva the Shires Sapphire service 101 to Little Wymondley (Plume of Feathers PH on Stevenage Road) that arrives there at 0947 on Wednesday morning.

It is quite interesting how some names became areas of towns and cities. The nearest place called Vauxhall to where I live is the area by that name in Liverpool, where the famous Scotland Road passes through.
