I don't agree there is a problem with the Birmingham New Street post.

I can't view the attached thumbnail so can't see what your objection is, but I suspect Google Maps may be plotting an un-necessarily roundabout route into New Street station. How much longer than "about half a mile" was it?

The route from the ICC bus stop on Broad Street to New Street concourse via the station entrance near the Navigation St / Stephenson St intersection was 0.5 miles and 10 minutes according to Google Maps - I didn't just guess this figure.

Try searching the route to the station via Navigation St entrance and see if it's significantly different to "about half a mile" as specified in the rules.

Departing Bristol's bus station (yes, National Express's route 201 serves the bus station and not the coach one) at 00:40, we arrive at this sprawling metropolis on the M4's junction 12 at 01:50 in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Can I please ask for your source, the timetable I have (attached) shows the National Express 201 service at 0040 from Bristol stops at Calcot, Calcot Sainsbury’s (Stop 3) at 0155 but doesn't mention anything about stops at M4's junction 12

It appears theres differences between National Express site (which I assume you used) and Traveline which I have used. National Express describes to stop as Calcot Coachway (for Reading), Sainsbury's, M4 Junction 12 whereas Traveline calls it Calcot, Calcot Sainsbury’s (Stop 3) but which are ostensibly the same stop. the time difference I can only guess is the difference between the departure and arrival time so that leaves us at Calcot Coachway (for Reading), Sainsbury's, M4 Junction 12 at 0150
