Some guide notes for new contestants.

Please be careful to note the time of arrival of the previous posting before making a following posting. Two recent examples are as follows:-

Posting # 8207
This shows a 1901 departure, but the previous posting arrived at 1922.

Posting # 8209
This shows a 2212 departure, but the previous posting arrived at 2225.

This is for information purposes only and is not to hold the quiz up from the state it has reached since then.

Well spotted. These are pretty poor mistakes to be honest.

There are earlier 75/76 services from this location.

We then walk around the corner to Union Street where we board the 1430 Wessex Star service 13 to Fishponds (New Station Road), arriving there at 1449 on Sunday afternoon.

Sorry for the delay in answering, but I was totally lost and struggling to find where we actually are......

We take a ten minute walk to the bus stop on Queens Avenue and board the 1932 Wessex Connect service 16 to Stoke Bishop (Transport Hub) that arrives there at 1947 on Sunday evening.

How unfortunate. Queens Road makes up the top of the Clifton Triangle, one of Bristol's famous landmarks.

Anyway, taking the 11 minute walk to the bus stop on Westbury Road, we then board the 1946 First Bristol service 1 to Arnos Vale (Paintworks), arriving there at 2016 on Sunday evening.

Indeed, I do appear to suffer from the Bristol equivalent of Lybster Omnibus Syndrome when in this large city.....:D

We take the nine minute walk to the bus stop on Highgrove Street on board the 2030 First in Bristol, Bath and the West service 53 to Hengrove (Hengrove depot on Roman Farm Road) that arrives there at 2048 on Sunday evening.

Guys I'm so sorry, I've made an error with the W1. That service is a weekday service.

Instead, let's take, from Bristol bus station, the 2300 First in Bristol, Bath and The West service 39 to Saltford (Tyning Road), arriving there at 2330 on Sunday evening.

We cannot board the next service to Bath as there is only a four minute connection rather than the five minute connection requirement, so we wait until we can board the 0030 First in Bristol, Bath and the West service 39 to Bath bus station that arrives there at 0044 on Monday morning.

The short 4 minute (0.2 mile) walk to Newquay Train station and we are just in time to get an early morning coffee to go and then board the 1013 2N03 Great Western Railway service towards Par Railway Station arriving there at 1102 on Monday morning.
