No more transport available tonight, so we take the 0.5 mile walk to Pleasure Beach railway station. We wait for the 0521 Northern train to Blackburn, arriving at 0626 Wednesday morning.

Time to choose a bus route other than into Lancashire, so we next board the 0945 First Leeds service X84 to Otley bus station that arrives there at 1036 on Wednesday morning.

Google Maps shows several bus stops on Town Street, Beeston for service 1.
Researching timetables to try to deduce which stop we arrived at, I could not find any 1230 departure from Headingley Arndale - either on a weekday or weekend.
The overall route is valid, and the 1 is a frequent service with buses at 1225 and 1235 from Arndale according to the WY Metro Journey Planner timetable.

Can we get confirmation exactly where we ended up in Beeston and at precisely what time?

I too could not trace a Wednesday departure at 1230, so held back from committing myself in a posting. I did find a 1235 departure that arrived at Beeston, Town Street terminus at 1314 on Wednesday afternoon

I'm not quite sure what timetable you are both looking at then, as First's own timetable states there is a 1230 departure.

There are also only two stops known as Town Street on Google Maps, of which both arrive at exactly the same time. In this case, I was going on the arrival time of the very last stop.

If there are any inaccuracies in any timetable anywhere, just allow 15 minutes minimum connection at said location to allow for such situations.

I think that I can only find the First Leeds number 1 bus service that serves that area and coupled with the fact that my attempt to find the CORRECT timetable information was found to be unsound, I dare not make another posting until we are clear of this area.

We walk from Town Street to "opposite Drysalters" on the A6110. This is about half a mile away, so takes about 10 minutes to get to. We then board a no. 52 bus (First) at about 1.27, arriving in Great Wilson Street at 1.40 Weds afternoon.

It is about half a mile to Leeds station from here, walking, so we should be able to get a train a long way away at about 14.00.

We join CrossCountry's 1V60 their 0820 Aberdeen to Penzance service, departing Leeds at 1411 and we stay aboard as far as St Erth arriving there at 2134 that Wednesday evening!

Following OxtedL's suggestion, we proceed on our half-mile walk that takes us into Leeds Station; from there we board the 1408 CrossCountry Trains departure from platform 9D. This allows us a little respite from all the recent short journeys as we arrive at 1811 into Glasgow Central station.

It took so long to construct the post, and we have now ended up at opposite ends of the country!
