According to the Centrebus 747 pdf timetable and Onbus.info the bus actually arrives in Uppingham at 1317. The RF1 arrives Uppingham at 1320 and departs at 1325. The 747 departs back to Leicester at 1325 and the RF1 going the other way towards Oakham is also at Uppingham at 1320 for a 1325 departure. This makes me think that these services are all timed to connect with each other - a rare concept these days in Britain I know. 1317 to 1325 is an 8 minute connection at the same bus stop, which is surely a valid connection.

We find the 1325 Centrebus Midlands Rutland Flyer RF1 service waiting for us and catch it into the Welland Valley where we alight at Lyddington, Stoke Road arriving there at 1331 on Monday afternoon, just in time to call into the Old White Hart for refreshment.

We then board the 1414 Centrebus service RF1 to Oakham (Bus Station), arriving there at 1440 on Monday afternoon.

We walk over to the station in King's Lynn and, after waiting for an hour, board the 20:37 Great Northern service to London King's Cross, arriving there at 22:32.

I realise that's a long wait, so here's a post provided by another member detailing what to do when you have a similar wait needed.

When delays occur:
1. Ascertain if location permits access to messroom.
2. If answer to 1 is positive, adjourn to messroom. Moan about cancellation or delay. Mutually receive other moaning. Drink coffee.
3. If answer to 1 is negative, amuse self with other station facilities, take photographs of anything particularly interesting, and still acquire coffee.
4. If answer to 1 is negative and 3 is not possible (eg. at Blackwater on an early January morning), depart from station and seek coffee.
5. If 4 is not possible, immediately board any available train providing a connection and return journey to said station within reasonable time. Observe other passengers. Relieve crew of unused coffee. Purchase hideously complicated ticket.
6. If 5 is not possible, adjourn to nearest emergency shelter or bothy. Set up camp. Drink coffee.
7. If no bothy is available, and no trains are available either, the station is cold and there is no coffee, resort to sundry survival tactics.
8. If station is warm, relax and enjoy RHTT movements. Where there are no passenger trains available, Sod's law dictates there will be numerous unfortunately irrelevant movements of RHTTs, usually involving indecipherable shunts which are rarely done.

We walk outside the station to the bus stop opposite and catch the Stagecoach Warwickshire service 26 departing at 1112 which we take to the National Trust property of Coughton Court on the A435 Birmingham Road where we arrive at 1145 on Tuesday morning.

We then board the 1157 Diamond Buses service 247 to Redditch (Bus Station), arriving there at 1223 on Tuesday afternoon.

Another twice weekly service beckons so we take the Tuesday/Thursday only Diamond Bus 354 service departing at 1310 and enjoy a ride through the Worcestershire countryside (and Redditch) to Droitwich Spa, Ombersley Street East where we arrive at 1346 on Tuesday afternoon.

From nearby Victoria Square, we then head towards Cadbury World as we board the 1354 First in Worcestershire and Herefordshire service 144 to Bournville (Bournville Lane), arriving there at 1449 on Tuesday afternoon.
