Along the way, we resist the temptation to get off at Lower Ince, Cemetery Road to inspect the sad remains of Springs Branch T.M.D.

The bus continues to Wigan Bus Station , where we arrive at 1205 Monday afternoon.

We're too late to try for the last Merseyrail train of the night from Bromborough Rake station, so we board a Stagecoach Merseyside Service 1 bus at Bromborough Cross and return to Rock Ferry Bus Depot, arriving at 0029 Tuesday morning.
