I was thinking that but all the services before are just the all-night TransPennine services between Manchester and York, and we've just come from Manchester so I didn't see the point in going back the same way we've just come from.

Whilst I've considerable sympathy with that it is in the nature of the game that some (??all) of the time your moves are severely constrained by what the previous poster has done.

In this case I think the only valid move is on the 0350 Manchester Airport train - how far you take it is up to you

Unlike in previous versions of this game, we do not have any one appointed person(s) who have a role to police the rules of the game, instead we leave this down to community judgement.

When posting moves, please do endeavour that they are realistic, whilst complying with the set rules at the same time. For example, it wouldn't be reasonable nor realistic, for someone to post a move which involves waiting at Clapham Junction for an hour and a half; trains pass through here much more frequently... whilst waiting two hours at a station such as Stowmarket would be more realistic as the station doesn't see frequent services.

Okay well let's take said train then to Huddersfield, arriving there at 0446 on Sunday morning.

Bearing in mind that the next service from Hudd is twenty minutes later going back to York, just a vicious cycle and in the end we'll probably end up being back in York for the 0850 to Middlesbrough!
