We take the two minute walk to Kingshurst then board the 1750 Stagecoach in Warwickshire service 66 to Little Bourton (The Plough Inn) that arrives there at 1822 on Monday evening.

No First in Warwickshire - I think Paul meant Stagecoach in Warwickshire, anyway we then wait for the final service of the day, the return 1849 Stagecoach in Warwickshire service 66 and alight at the terminus, Leamington Spa Parade (Stand E) where we arrive at 1945 on Monday evening. Getting nearer to my home town of Nuneaton, also in Warwickshire!

After having made quite a few journeys with Stagecoach, we then board a service operated by a different company in the form of the 1953 National Express Coventry service 11 (which uses lovely new Enviro 400s) to Earlsdon (Hearsall Common), arriving there at 2032 on Monday evening.

As time is drawing on, we need to travel to somewhere which hopefully will offer onward services, so we board the 2047 National Express Coventry service 12 to Coventry (Pool Meadow bus station) that arrives there at 2104 on Monday evening.

We then walk 0.4 miles to Holbrook Lane (opposite Sunningdale Road) and take the Stagecoach in Warwickshire service 55 departing at 2223 and alight at Nuneaton Bus Station where we arrive at 2302 on Monday night.

Entering the railway station opposite the bus station, we then board 1K77, the 2314 Virgin Trains West Coast (important emphasis now that Virgin also have the East Coast franchise) service to Crewe, arriving there at 0021 in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Not a lot of choice left at Crewe now but there is a Northern Rail service departing at 0044 to Manchester Piccadilly which we catch and arrive there at 0126 on Tuesday morning.

We change operators and board the 0854 Arriva North East service 29A to Marton (Brass Castle Lane) that arrives there at 0916 on Tuesday morning.

Not sure if we have had a Megabus ride before but we now take Stagecoach Megabus service M35 to Sunderland Park Lane Metro station where we arrive at 1200 on Tuesday morning.

That's it for the day for any type of public transport, so we book into overnight accommodation and setting off early the next morning, we make the 10 minute walk to the bus stop on Penn Lane, where we board the 0651 Arriva North East service X59 to Leyburn (Market Place) that arrives there at 0742 on Wednesday morning..

Moving away from this area now as services are limited, we then board the 0935 Dales & District service 159 to Richmond (Market Place), arriving there at 1000 on Wednesday morning.
