We walk back 100 yards to the rail station stop and catch the 1755 Astons route 564 bus at its last pickup point to Flyford Flavell Flyford Arms arriving at 1816 Friday afternoon (it does call at the stores also at 1755 but to set down only)

Indeed there are no more buses today, so we have to make overnight arrangements until we can return to the bus stop to board the 0805 Johnson's Excelbus service 350 to Worcester, Worcester Crowngate Bus Station, that arrives there at 0841 on Saturday morning.

We depart the bus station on First's 363 service to Tewkesbury High Street (Boots) at 0905, arriving at our destination at 0958 Saturday morning

We then board the 1003 First in Worcestershire and Herefordshire service 363 to Upton-on-Severn (Panes Garage), arriving there at 1025 on Saturday morning.

Staying with the same operator, we next board the 1610 Sargeant Bros service 461 to Crossgates (Builders Arms) that arrives there at 1649 on Saturday afternoon.

Not a long connection here, we get on a bus just 15 minutes later this time operated by Stagecoach South West. The T4 service arrives at 17:04, and we stay with it all the way to Merthyr Tydfil bus station where it terminates at 19:01 on Saturday evening.

I doubt it very much unless you had your time machine, as having arrived at 2248, you were able to take a 2200 journey.

Now that it is November, some of the timeabled buses do not run, so deciding that it would be better to be nearer to the city area, we board the 2318 ATW service to Cardiff Queen Street that arrives at 2322 on Saturday evening.

The 2336 Cardiff Queen Street to Cardiff Central service is NOT set down only on Saturdays. It was, however, set down only yesterday due to the rugby being on in Cardiff, and Cardiff Queen Street is closed on rugby days.

So technically that move is still valid as under the normal working timetable that service would pick up at Queen Street.

We make our way to the bus station in Wood Street and take the 0200 National Express 202 coach wishing to find somewhere quieter than Cardiff. Unsuccessful in this, we get out at Heathrow Airport Central Bus Station at 0525 on Sunday morning
