We then board 2C42, the 0956 Northern service to Ulverston, arriving there at 1228 on Wednesday afternoon.

We make our way to Victoria Road for the 1247 6 service to Haverthwaite station, arriving at 1259 Wednesday afternoon.

We then board the 1404 Stagecoach Cumbria service X6 to Kendal (Bus Station), arriving there at 1452 on Wednesday afternoon.

It is unfortunately a good mile to the ferry pier, so instead we take the Coniston Rambler service 505 at 1642 to Coniston Crown Inn arriving at 1718 Wednesday evening

Not liking the beer in the Crown Inn we crossed the road to catch the X12 to Tover only to find the last one had gone leaving no choice but to catch the 505 heading back towards Kendal. Sadly the bus we arrive on had left at 1722 four minutes after its arrival:cry:. So it was get on the final scheduled departure of Stagecoache's 505 Coniston Rambler at 1840 to Kendal which dropped us off at Windermere, Railway Station on a Wednesday evening at 1935

We then board 2C21, the 1958 First TransPennine Express service to Oxenholme Lake District, arriving there at 2017 on Wednesday evening.

Which connects quite nicely with Virgin's 2024 departure for London Euston from which we alight at 2241 Wednesday evening onto the platform of Milton Keynes Central

We then board 1G48, the 2329 Virgin Trains service to Birmingham International, arriving there at 0023 in the early hours of Thursday morning.

We just have time to catch the 0028 National Express West Midland 900 service to Birmingham Airport bus terminal arriving at 0030 Thursday morning

Luckily Birmingham has been blessed with a 24 hour bus service which is the 97, so we board the 0115 National Express West Midlands service 97A to Tile Cross (Shirestone Road), arriving there at 0133 in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Realising that his was silly place to hang around we get a National Express West Midlands 97A at 0130 back to Birmingham Airport Bus Terminal arriving at 0145 Thursday

Not exactly many sensible journeys on offer and this one really isn't one of them:

We take the National Express 210 service at 0305 to Banbury Bridge Street Bus station arriving at 0415 Thursday

We walk to the station and catch the 06:05 CR service to Leamington Spa arriving at 06:23 on thursday morning

We then take the 0652 Chiltern Trains service to Stratford Parkway where we arrive at 0723 on Thursday morning.

After boarding the 0746 London Midland departure to Birmingham and speaking to the guard we alight a few minutes later at the request stop of Wootten Waven at 0754 Thursday -why?

We then walk the 0.3 mile (according to Google) to the bus stop outside the General Stores on Stratford Road in Wootton Wawen and board the Johnsons Coaches X20 service which departs at 0829 and alight at Henley in Arden High Street outside the Three Tuns pub where we arrive at 0835 on Thursday morning.

Well where else we were supposed to go?! To be fair Tile Cross, as an urban area of Birmingham is better than bloody Wootton Wawen!! There was both the 97A and the 900 which would have taken us to Birmingham or Coventry!

After looking at the timetable we saw we were in luck and at 1003 the National Express West Midlands No6 came along and took as to Hall Green Station arriving there on time at 1014 Thursday

From outside South Birmingham College, just around the corner from Hall Green station, we then board the 1021 National Express West Midlands service 11C to Bearwood (Lordswood Road), arriving there at 1111 on Thursday morning.

So walking aound the corner to Hagley Road we board the 1123 No 9 operated by National Express West Midlands towards Stourbridge where we get off close to Stourbridge Town station at about 1204 Thursday

We walk to Stourbridge town station and take the 12:20 LM service to Stourbridge Junction arriving at 12:23 on Thursday afternoon.

We cross to platform 2 and get on the 1227 London Midland service to Lye where we arrive at 1230 on Thursday.

We then board the 1244 National Express West Midlands service 276 to Merry Hill (Bus Station), arriving there at 1253 on Thursday afternoon.

After going to Mr Chan for a Chinese Take away we hang around at the station for the 1131 London Midlands train to Stratford upon Avon getting off Dorridge at 1220 Thurday afternoon
