From the bus stop outside the station, we board the 1419 Stagecoach South Wales service 2 to Merthyr Tydfil (Bus Station), arriving there at 1455 on Friday afternoon.

We decide that we don't like the look of the St Mellon's area much , so catch the 1722 Cardiff Bus service 45 from outside the nearby Tesco on to Castle Street in Cardiff, arriving at 1807 on Friday evening

We cross the road to the bus stop outside the castle and board the 1817 Cardiff Bus service 27 to Thornhill (Sainsburys), arriving there at 1841 on Friday evening.

After a very brief wait at the bus stop, we catch the 1847 NAT Group C8 Bus to the Birchgrove Station bus stop, arriving at 1854 on Friday evening

We exit the station to the bus stop at the end of Triscombe Drive, where we board the 1940 Stagecoach South Wales service 122 to Talbot Green (Bus Station), arriving there at 2013 on Friday evening.

Its an hours wait until the next bus at this time of the evening, so we stroll over to the nearby Nandos for a bite to eat, before returning to Stop C to catch the 2113 Stagecoach South Wales service 122 to Tonypandy bus station, arriving at 2145 on Friday evening

There isn't an area named Broomhill in Bristol on Google Maps, but given the bus is on a Broomhill Road I assume so, though Google actually says the stop is in Brislington (not Conham)

We then get 0852 First Bristol Bath and the West service 3 to St Andrews Road Station, arriving at 0923 Saturday morning

Bedminster station is just over the permitted 0.5 mile walk from Sion Road, but I'm sure we could let it slip as we've been off the road for nearly two weeks!
