You shouldn't wait for more than two hours after the first available service (to any destination) has left, after allowing for the minimum interchange time.

• Night services in the UK can be quite limited, so when the previous move arrives at its destination after 2300 you are allowed to wait until 0500 the next day if you wish.

The matter of using a bus service after the 0500 end of the overnight travel relaxation rules being used and the other mention of the two hour ruling mentioned above still are confusing in establishing the departure time on the following day when "first available" early morning services are available.

The last posting, having taken advantage of the overnight travel relaxation rule after the 0500 end time of same shows a Dartline Coach service 369 departure at 0805 to Exeter on Monday morning.

There is a much earlier 0639 Stagecoach South West service 5 that leaves from the same departure point to Exeter on Monday morning.
