It was triggered by your post (additional 3 minutes on the public timetable which almost broke some connections), but it's a trend I have noticed from a lot of players a lot of times. Hence why I didn't make it specific.

I would have assumed National Rail Enquiries should be considered "publically advertised".

Real Time Trains also quotes a 0105 arrival on the normal WTT.

The whole reason for my comment was that the WTT arrival time is not relevant to this game because the WTT is not "public". When using RealTimeTrains, one has to use the GBTT as that is the public timetable.

In all honesty I don't think it really matters, as long as the minimum connection times are still being applied and that there aren't any major timetable changes. If it's a few minutes out, such as with the Reading example it won't matter.

Being 1 minute out could matter for the minimum interchange times. For example, some trains are shown arriving earlier in the public timetable than the Working precisely so that connections are made. The ex-Glasgow/Edinburgh to Birmingham and London services make this trick at Crewe (for example).
