We're in a difficult position here because that was the last bus of the day. Clifton station is nearby but there's only one or two trains a day and we're too far away from Pendlebury health centre on Bolton Road where we could catch the 8, so I think we're going to have to fork it out here for the night and return for the 0642 Diamond Bus North West service 66 to Worsley (Court House), arriving there at 0706 on Thursday morning.
Oops, I didn't realise even consider that we'd be stranded having got off in urban Manchester at 20 to 8!

All our "regulars" appear to have reached Nirvana by finding themselves at the iconic Pleasure Beach, with the last posting being made over 48 hours ago, so I will grasp the nettle in the sure knowledge that I will be admonished for any posting onwards that does not rely on making another journey on the trams from the tram stop where we disembarked.....

. Also if you look at the number of posts, you definitely count as a 'regular'! How far was the walking time from the railway station to the bus stop and where was the location where you caught this bus service?
Oops sorry, that’s from the bus station (forgot bus and train station aren’t the same thing!) Fortunately they’re almost adjacent so probably only about 2 mins
