Yet another change of TOC sees us board the 2133 First TPE service to Malton that arrives there at 2224 on Friday evening.

Not wishing to just catch the last train the way we came, we have a few pints in Malton, and wake up very early with headache in the Bus Station. So on Saturday morning we take the Yorkshire Coastliner 843 bus at 0505, waking up and alighting at Tadcaster Bus Station at 0614.

We then board the 0643 Yorkshire Coastliner service 843 to Leeds (City Bus Station), arriving there at 0723 on Saturday morning.

We leave the railway station, taking the short 4 minute walk to the bus stop on Wells Lane, where we board the 0910 Yorkshire Coastliner service 840 to Whitby (Boyes) that arrives there at 1038 on Saturday morning.

We make our way over to the North Yorks Moors Railway and noting that Sunday is the silver timetable, this affords us the opportunity to make our first journey with them to Whitby, so we board the 1255 NYMR service to Whitby that arrives there at 1335 on Sunday afternoon.
