We then leave Sutton for a second time on board the 0200 London General service N44 to Victoria (Coach Station/Buckingham Palace Road), arriving there at 0252 in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Taking heed of the minimum connection time that applies at this large station, we next board the 1118 Thameslink service to Flitwick that arrives at 1207 on Saturday afternoon.
Flitwick doesn't have much to offer, so we head to the coast as we board the 1220 Thameslink service 1W31 to Brighton, arriving there at 1441 on Saturday afternoon.
We next make the coastal journey in a westerly direction and board the 1503 SN service to Portsmouth Harbour that arrives there at 1621 on Saturday afternoon.
Exiting the station and walking to the Hard Interchange, we then board the 1630 Stagecoach South service 21 to Anchorage Park (Compass Rose), arriving there at 1659 on Saturday afternoon.
We take the one minute walk to the bus stop outside Morrisons Supermarket and board the 1715 Stagecoach in Portsmouth service 21 to Fratton (Clifton Street/Arundel Road) that arrives there at 1735 on Saturday afternoon.
We then board the 1740 Stagecoach South/Portsmouth (not actually sure what the correct name is?) service 21 to Havant (Bus Station), arriving there at 1835 on Saturday evening.
Thankfully despite there not being much around we are still blessed with another service as we board the 0038 South West Trains service 2C77 to Reading, arriving there at 0045 in the early hours of Sunday morning.
I can't seem to escape from Reading by train or coach, so it's the 0100 Reading Buses Claret 21 service to Earley, Hawkesdown Way, arriving 0126 on Sunday morning.
We then board the 0226 Reading Buses service 21 to University of Reading (Chancellor's Way), arriving there at 0238 in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Looks like at time on a sunday we are getting stuck for a while, so we wait until the 03:08 Reading Buses No.21 service travelling to Blagrave Street (Stop Ej), arriving 03:19 sunday morning.
