Stagecoach seem to be the principal operator in this area, so we remain with them for the time being to a larger settlement as we head to the Tanyard Brow bus stop where we board the 2317 Stagecoach Manchester service 204 to Hyde (Bus Station), arriving there at 2340 on Monday evening.

On the destination finder board at the bus station, we are somewhat intruiged by the name of a place to visit, so we board the 1112 Burnley & Pendle service 26 to Lamb Roe (Whiteacre Lane) that arrives there at 1149 on Tuesday morning.

Indeed that was the last bus of the day and despite a plea to the driver for news of the next service, we are met with a wall of silence, so we resign ourselves to wait for the next available bus and we then eventually (rather stiffly and somewhat bleary-eyed) board the 0645 First in Norfolk and Suffolk service 1 to Hopton-on-Sea (Anglian Way) that arrives there at 0800 on Wednesday morning.
Taking the short walk over to the railway station, we then board 1H30, the 1516 Southern service to Worthing, arriving there at 1636 on Wednesday afternoon.
We just have time to make it to the nearby stop on Broadwater Bridge before boarding the 1643 Metrobus service 23 to Bewbush Dorsten Square, arriving at 1804 on Wednesday afternoon.
We next board the Metrobus Fastway route 100 at 1901 and go past my house to the other end of the route, Maidenbower Village Centre, arriving at 1943 on Wednesday evening.
