The last time I was in Blackpool I actually rode the 11 and 11b and they are actually 2 of my favourite bus routes that I've been on in the Uk, especially the 11 as between Lytham St Annes and Star Gate you can get good views on a nice day, especially if it is a double decker service
Speaking of Star Gate, we decided to walk the 3 minutes to North Pier southbound tram stop and board the 00:30 Blackpool Tram service to Star Gate, arriving there at 00:40 on Friday morning

QUERY
I know that the area called Hey Houses is served by the Archway Travel service 78 (a service that I used in a recent posting which called at Warton) but the service 18 seems to take a different route, unless there has been a recent re-routing.
There is a bus stop called Lysander House in Squires Gate from what I was told when I telephoned a family friend for advice.

There are seemingly two Hey Houses areas then. This one is near Blackpool Airport.
