Ooh an interesting one. I'd say no it's fine to do so as it's at a different time heading back to Chester (2236 arrival, 2250 departure) and the train has called at other stations since.

Thanks for the clarification, as it was not the usual journey to a terminal station and return but a direct circular service. My recent absence from this thread was caused by an eight-day stay on ward A9 at Wythenshawe Hospital having fractured a small bone in my pelvis when I had a fall.
