We next board the 0935 Damory service 20 to Sixpenny Handley (The Roebuck Inn), arriving there at 0957 on Thursday.

Wwe've had several instances where we've been deposited just out of range of other onward connections (Posts #44524, #44577, #44596 and #44601 spring to mind....).

This arrival in Sixpenny Handley seems to fall into that category stated above and if my timetable reading is correct, to go onwards in either direction means a very long wait.

Unfortunately we only have the 20 available here with no further buses until 13.39 back to Blandford but not wishing to back track we wait for the 14.38 to Salisbury, Tesco arriving at 15.10 on Thursday.

Allowing for the 15 minute minimum connection time that applies at this large station, we next board the 2145 South Western Railway service to its terminal point at Haslemere that arrives there at 2249 on Thursday.

At this time of night the only choice is to stay on the trains so we next take the 22.55 SWR service to Portsmouth Harbour alighting at Havant at 23.26 on Thursday.
