(50001 × 50001) + (D1000 × D1000) = (50011 × 50011)
50011 +01001-01002= 50010
Why did you start with the wrong number?50020 + 24012 + 56044 - 26040 - 55012 - 40126 = 08888
Sorry meant 50010! Just a typo! Why did you start with the wrong number?
47134 +37001 + 47001 -47132 = 84004
Just checked. You are correct. Allocated the number but did not carry it. I have edited to go + 47003-47134 so the answer remains the same. Not sure this is valid as of course 47132 is not a TOPS number - it never existed

91004- 03001 = 88003
What 24s don't exist?Nice try, but 47133 never existed either!
From the Rules listed on Page 1 of this thread:
I reckon some of the dubious Class 03, 08 and 24 numbers quoted previously are a bit dodgy too...
- All numbers used in calculations, and as the results of calculations, must be locomotive numbers which have existed at any time since 1973 to the present day within the current 5-digit numbering system. They must have been carried on a locomotive at some time.
What 24s don't exist?
To try and get this moving again it's been decided to go back to this move, so the current number is 91004.92006 - 01002 = 91004
