The SWT 158 that's hired to FGW changes

Hiya, I went on the 2127 off SOU to BTM as far as SAL, and surprisingly it was an SWT 158, I thought the hire-in was supposed to be sitting at BTM after a Weymouth service normally at that time waiting for it's 159 to take it back to Salisbury, Is this a temporary change, and is there any over changes to it's diagram?

I presume you travelled on the service on Saturday evening? The SWT unit was swapped on to the Southampton service due to problems at late running on the Weymouth line. It worked as far as Westbury where it attached to 1O86, 2233 BRI-SAL. 158763 and 153318 worked the 2127 SOU-BRI through from Westbury to Bristol.
