Watch out this week for a new, very credible railtour operator.

37s from Whitchurch through to Shrewsbury, Telford and Wolverhampton then on to Exeter, Torquay and Paignton.

Out via Oxford, return Bristol and Lickey incline.

Premier dining, first class and standard available. Raffle with excellent prizes, quiz and merchandise shop on board.

Saturday 14th June-something for everyone. That special day out with breakfast, evening meal and all the trimmings, first class with drinks and refreshments or standard class with a buffet car available.

ALL profits go to fund charity led care.

Keep watching for details....

Booking forms downloadable and on-line booking available from Monday.

Promises to be a cracking day out. Some good haulage on some interesting lines and a thrash up the Lickey incline on the way home.....

Can anybody suggest good places to get this out there please? Will be in Rail Express, local paper and on Severn Hospice website. Publicised on class 37 group website too.

Want maximum exposure to offer a great day out for everyone and raise charity funds.

Cheers in advance.

Railway Herald on line magazine will put it on their tours page. Write to Rail and it will also put in their section on tours. I am sure you can receive free publicity in all the online newspapers across Shropshire and the West Midlands.

Our train will be made up of air-conditioned carriages, all with large windows, comfortable seats and plenty of leg room

Mk2 Coffins I take it? Very interesting route though I must say

Thank you. Yes an interesting route through the Midlands, Oxfordshire etc.

Chance to check out the work on the Dawlish sea wall too!

Our trains will hopefully appeal to lots of people-traction junkies, unusual routes, daytrippers, luxury diners, charity supporters etc etc. Please spread the word :)

Very reluctantly it was. Being a charity event, a small loss or break even won't do.

There is already a lot of interest for the Festive Edinburgh trip......

The charity is comitted to make it work and is reviewing its marketing strategy to take the venture forwards.

Any news on this Edinburgh trip, or is it not happening? Christmas is less than two months away and I've yet to see any publicity for it.
