The short answer is no, not really; the long answer is yes, quite a lot.
What I mean by that is that with MOT checks (for example if you're eagle-eyed you'll notice that the nearside wiper arm is missing), plus a temporary bodge to the cooling system, it will run and indeed I might well run her in the coming year. However in the longer term the cooling system is borked, which might mean an overhaul to the water pump, an overhaul for the radiator or both; and at the rear there are problems both seen (it was dented by another bus rolling into it some years ago) and unseen (the whole back end is corroded, a known issue with this bodywork manufacturer). My aim is to give it one or two trips out this year, hopefully including the Trans Lancs show in Manchester's Heaton Park; and for restoration to be complete by the time of the centenary of the North Western Road Car Company, its original owner, in 2023.
