I won't be watching it.

Don't get me wrong I'm happy for Wills and Kate, and royal ocasions like this are a rarity;

But does all this money need to go into it? Both the Beeb and ITV are telivising it. Do we realy need both? I mean its the same wedding. The only thing what will be differant will be the filming angle! And knowing the BBC they'll go over the top and send a whole army of engineers and trucks down. More than what they actualy need. Is all this realy nessassary?

I think I'll spend the day on my model railway

I agree totally. And even if you do watch, there'll be commentators, doubtlessly yapping non-stop for the whole ceremony. I couldn't believe it when they started talking about politics during China's wonderful opening ceremony at the Beijing Olympics. I know I sound like a BBC basher (I'm not)!

I'll be on Railworks 2. If I watch the news, it'll be Al-Jazeera. The one news crew who won't be on about it!

That's rediculous! The rate things are going they'll be more (BBC) telivision personel than guests!

When Mrs EM2 was talking about what was on TV tonight, she mentioned 'Meet The Middletons', I said 'Which Middletons? I can only think of Malcolm...'
When she then said 'Kate Middleton!', I then replied 'The one with the glasses off the news?' Then I remembered that's Kate Silverton.
That's how much notice I've been taking of the Royal Wedding, the bride's name has hardly registered...

And I won't watch it, because I'll be in bed. Night shifts for the win!

If you pause for a certain amount of time on ITV Player, they make you watch another stream of five adverts, plus another load if you paused before an upcoming break.

I wouldn't put it past them!

I'll actually be attending a wedding next friday at Woodhall Spa in lincs, so i will at least be watching ONE wedding.

No doubt at some point i'll tune in to see what old Kate is wearing!

Certainly will not be watching although the Mrs will but she's American so I can forgive her. I'm not a royalist by any means and would be much happier living in a republic but I don't wish the Windsors any ill will. Personally have met both Princess Ann and Prince Andrew and they were perfectly nice and polite to me. Will be spending my day off listening to classic rock and working on my baseboard!
